ArtSplash Store has a variety of premarked boards in different sizes, shapes and sizes. Transform the boring plain walls of your home with colorful art on MDF round boards in different sizes and designs. A collection of small to medium-sized MDF round boards on plain walls is a sure-shot eye-catcher.

Here are some ways in which you can decorate your premarked MDF boards :

Painting with colors: The first step is to paint the board with your choice of colors that suit the design. Choose a color pallet that matches the design and your artistic vision. It can be bright and vibrant colors, or monochromatic designs based on how you have decided the theme of the painting or the theme of the wall décor pieces.

Infusing 3D effect to the art : 3D effect can be given with clay, which can be in the form of the Fevicylr mold it clay or ceramic cone clay, both of which can give lovely 3D effect to the art piece. They are work of great patience and therefore a good amount pf preparation is required before you start the process. Doing the clay work before painting is as good idea.Once the clay has hardened, you can paint it with colours that complement the art piece. If you want to take an easier option, use Fevicryl 3 D outliner for adding the 3D details to your work.

Decorating with Mirrors : Craft mirrors add elegance to your art work and increase its appeal. At the ArtSplash store, we have a variety of craft mirrors in different shapes and sizes. The placement of the mirrors prior to gluing them to the board is an important step so that you can gauge if the placement is done right and make sure that it is visually appealing.

Adding stones and other embellishments: Kundan stones and other embellishments add a striking amount of color and beauty to the art piece. Indian art forms, especially the ones involving religious figures and themes are enhanced with the application of stones/embellishments to them. For instance, the traditional Tanjore painting uses stones and 3D embossing that accentuates the beauty of the paintings.

Adding resin to the completed art piece: Pouring resin on completed artworks is a great way of sealing the work, while giving it a glossy and shiny finish, that may not have been possible with the use of acrylic varnish alone. Use the Granatone 3:1 resin for an amazing gloss and finish to your work.

Decoupage : Decoupage is a technique to decorate surfaces by cutting and sealing rice tissue paper, which comes in beautiful designs and prints. Use scissors to cut the design in the form that you would like and arrange the cutouts on the board to get the desired outcome or pattern. A decoupage glue or Mod Podge can be to seal the decoupage paper to the surface. Smooth the decoupage paper while sticking to the surface and check for wrinkles or air bubbles. Finally, add a decoupage medium or varnish to add the sheen and finish to the artwork.
